Mansfield Returns to Hockey in April 2021!

We are delighted to announce that Mansfield Hockey Club will be returning to hockey on Wednesday 7th April! These sessions will take place from 7-8 and 8-9, and will purely consist of informal friendly games to help get us back into playing again! All ages and abilities are welcome to the sessions. However due to covid restrictions, numbers will be limited to 25 places per session awarded on a First Come, First Served Basis. MHC Members Complete Emergency First Aid Course

Yesterday morning on Saturday 26th July, 5 members of Mansfield Hockey Club, as well as 5 members of Ashfield Aztecs Ladies Hockey Club and 3 members of Ashfield Ladies Rugby Club successfully passed their QA Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (RQF) at Ashfield Rugby Club. The course was taught by fellow Mansfield Hockey Club member Craig Stevens through his company Essential First Aid Training, and it consisted of mixture of classroom based learning followed by practical based learning of the Resuscitation procedure, CPR, and the Recovery Position. The transmission of COVID-19 was tightly controlled throughout the course by doing temperature checks upon arrival, ensuring 2m Social Distancing when possible, with face masks being worn upon practical teaching of the recovery…
